Basic Function

As a Stockroom Clerk, you keep materials organized, accurate, and ready so production can move without delays. You’ll receive and verify incoming parts, label and put away inventory, and pull kits or components for work orders. You’ll maintain clean, safe storage areas, complete basic inventory transactions, and report shortages, damage, or count issues. You’ll also help with cycle counts and support shipping/receiving as needed.

Responsibility

A Typical Shift:

  1. You start at 8:00 a.m., review priorities for the day, and check what needs to be staged for upcoming builds.
  2. Throughout the morning you move between the stockroom and receiving area, updating records as items flow in and out.
  3. Midday is usually focused time to straighten locations, confirm labels match what’s on hand, and address any count questions that come up.
  4. In the afternoon you coordinate with nearby teams to keep materials moving and wrap up documentation so the next day starts clean.
