Basic Function

West Coast Magnetics is seeking a skilled Production Worker with strong soldering abilities and a passion for precision work. Experience in the electronics or transformer manufacturing industry is highly preferred.

In this role, you will perform specialized manufacturing tasks including soldering, winding, wire preparation, assembly, and testing of complex coils and transformers. You will follow detailed written instructions, interpret customer prints, and ensure high-quality results in every build.

Responsibility

The Production Worker has the responsibility to:

  1. Perform soldering and assembly of electronic components to exact specifications
  2. Read and follow detailed work instructions and technical drawings
  3. Build and test coils, transformers, and assemblies with precision and repeatability
  4. Inspect your own work to ensure 100% accuracy and quality compliance
  5. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong soldering skills (required)
  • Experience in electronics or transformer manufacturing (preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and prints
  • Commitment to quality and attention to detail
